To work as part of the Support Centre team to promote access to services for people with mental health needs from Black and Minority Ethnic communities. The post holder will work to these 3 key principles:
- Recovery – focussed
- Partnership working
Support workers will enable service users to access structured groups and 1-2-1 case management support where necessary in order to promote health and wellbeing and effective engagement with mainstream services. The role involves empowering service users by recognising their strengths and facilitating engagement with services and support networks both in the Support Centre, wider partnerships and the community.
